: : Legian : :
These days it's very hard to tell where Kuta ends and Legian begins
but to simplify things a bit for all intents and purposes once you
pass Jalan Melasti heading north you enter into Legian and Seminyak
and a little further up the road takes you to Kerobokan.
Not too long ago this area was fertile rice paddy, now it is a bustling
area dotted with chic designer shops that can hold their own against
any competition. The hotels in this area are usually small to mid
size, locally owned and managed properties. That said hotels in
this area tend to be a bit more expensive than their counter parts
in Kuta and refer to themselves as "Boutique Hotels" (unfortunately,
officially there is no such category and therefore all properties
are listed as Melati type). FYI, in order to remain objective, hotels
are listed in alphabetical order. We don't favor any hotel for any
reason.

Rama Garden Hotel 2 star / 30 rooms / Rating: 8.0 (5 reviews) |
| |
Rates to be advised With only 30 cosy Superior and Deluxe guest rooms tucked away at the corner of Jl. Yudistira and Jl. Sahadewa the Rama Garden Hotel Bali can be easily overlooked. However frequent visitors have come to appreciate Rama Garden's very convenient central location and nice, comfortable and quiet accommodation with warm, friendly service right in the heart of Legian and a short stroll from the beach.

Prani Legian Hotel 1 melati / 20 rooms / Rating: 6.3 (7 reviews) |
| |
Rates: Standard US$ 31.00 / Deluxe US$ 37.00 (include breakfast) A bit off the beaten path on Jl. Patih Jelantik the Legian Prani is a small budget hotel with nice tidy rooms that are simply furnished and quite large considering the rate. Offering low rates in a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, the Prani Legian Hotel is interesting option for those on a tight budget who wish to be in the Kuta / Legian area.
